Awards and Achievements

Listed below are some awards and personal accomplishments achieved over the years.

[Feb 2023] Participated in IGDC Gamedev Challenge event at the Inter IIT Tech Meet 11.0, hosted by IIT Kanpur, and won Gold as a contingent member.
[Oct 2019] Achieved 2nd position in the Annual Robosoccer Fresher's Challenge, hosted by Technology Robotix Society, IIT Kharagpur [Certificate]. This required participants to build a custom made autonomous robot which was then competed against other partipants in a 3 min soccer match.
Received an All India Rank of 881 in JEE Advanced 2019. Stood 6th position in my city (Jamshedpur, Jharkhand) and was felicitated with a Gold medal from FIITJEE and a plaque and cash prize of INR 75,000 from Prerna Classes.
[March 2019] Won the JC Bose award a scholarship of INR 3,00,000 for being the top scorer in Narbheram Hansraj English school in the session 2017-18.
[July 2017] Recieved highest scorer award in Maths, Science and Computers (achieved 100% in each) for ICSE examinations; and won the All-rounder of the Batch award for the academic session 2015-17 in Carmel Junior College.

Teaching

Listed below are some of the teaching opportunities I have had over the years.

[Dec 2020] Conducted online classes to teach game developement to 18 students enrolled in the 2 week crash course. The classes were conducted under Creative Tanima Academy. The students in the class were selected through a nationwide examination, with questions that I personally prepared.
[Jan 2023] Taught basics of Data Analysis to a group of 20 students in Homi Jehangir Bhabha Hall of Residence at IIT Kharagpur, in preparation for the Inter Hall Data Analytics competition.
[Jul 2021] Mentored juniors and conducted hands-on tutorial on game developement in Computer Graphics Society, IIT Kharagpur.

I have had the opportunity to give back to the community by being involved in the following organizations.

The Stray Army Charitable Trust

I found my calling towards animal rescue after we adopted our first dog from the streets of India. Since then, I have been volunteering with the The Stray Army Charitable Trust in Jamshedpur. I have virtually adopted a blind dog in their shelter. His name is Molu (on the left) and he has inspired me to strive better and be happy whatever the conditions might be.
National Cadet Corps

I completed two years of military training as part of the 3 Bengal Tech Air Squadron, NCC at IIT Kharagpur. During this period, I volunteered for cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, and distributing clothes and essentials to those in need. Being a social servant here taught me to appreciate every little thing in life. The strenuous military training also groomed me to be responsible and disciplined going forward. [Certificate]

I would like to share some of my interests outside work 😄.

Pets

I would like to introduce you (from left to right) to Blue (had blue colored eyes when she was a pup💙), Dumbo (does dumb things😂) and Chutku ("tiny" in Hindi🐶). These rescue pups add color to my otherwise boring life. I love spending time with them - playing, walking and sometimes taking a nap together.
Tabla

In my free time, I have often submerged myself in the peaceful tunes of Indian Classical Music. I love playing the Tabla, which is a membrane based instrument accompanying folk songs in India. I have been playing this instrument since I was 8 years old, and have also completed Diploma certification under the affiliation of Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow.
Cricket

Cricket is a game which I love the most! I used to run to the field (on the right) every chance I got and played with my friends.
